SkillBuilders
A Highly Individualized School Year Program For Children With Cerebral
Palsy and Other Orthopaedic Impairments
An ideal program for parents who feel their child with special needs
is not getting the education they deserve, or the care they need, in their
present school setting.
CLASS SIZE
This class is limited to eight children who are supervised by a teacher
and a staff of teaching assistants. It is an academically focused program
where children work on specific goals, both as a group and individually.
For the past 13 years, LifeSkills has specialized in helping children
who have sensory integration challenges. LifeSkills has incorporated this
knowledge and expertise into the SkillBuilders' school program: Children
who participate receive occupational, and/or speech therapies, in the
classroom, as appropriate.
SCHOOL HOURS
Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
LOCATION
1016 Spring Villas Pointe, Suite 1030, Winter Springs, FL 32708.

IEP AND OTHER SCHOOL RECORDS
A copy of your child's most recent IEP (Individualized Education Plan)

in the last 6-12 months are required. A preliminary screening will be
conducted to determine whether or not your child will benefit from this
program and if it would be a good balance with the other children currently
enrolled.
TUITION
The fee for this highly individualized and intensive, therapeutically
supported program is $20,000 per school year.
McKAY SCHOLARSHIP APPROVED PROGRAM
